Meet Joseph
Joseph Carrillo is an Engineering Manager at C&H Precision, where he leads advanced manufacturing efforts for red dot optics and adapter plates used in high-performance applications. His work bridges hands-on manufacturing and engineering design, ensuring products meet rigorous standards for precision, durability, and real-world performance.
Originally from Roswell, New Mexico, famous for more than just its UFO lore, Joseph was recruited by C&H Precision and relocated to Georgia to support the company’s new manufacturing facility and enhance engineering efforts.
Joseph’s career path spans the full manufacturing lifecycle, from his early experience as a student machinist to engineering internships, design and manufacturing engineering, and now engineering leadership. He brings deep expertise in CNC machining, CAD/CAM design, metal fabrication, quality assurance, and product development, with a strong appreciation for how design decisions translate to the shop floor.
Known as a natural problem-solver and tinkerer, Joseph enjoys building and improving systems from the ground up including personal projects like building an off-road vehicle from scratch. He has also designed custom tooling, fixtures, and testing apparatuses to simulate real-world forces and validate product performance.
A graduate of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Joseph is originally from Roswell, New Mexico. His roots shape his work ethic, collaborative style, and passion for mentoring others. He is deeply committed to youth development, having tutored both elementary and high school students, and enjoys helping young people discover hands-on career paths in engineering and manufacturing.
